I tell my family and Ichijo-san about today’s meeting.

“What? You’re not only participating in an anthology, but you’re going to publish a collection of short stories? …”

Ichijo-san exclaimed in surprise.

Mother’s eyes lit up and said,

“That’s amazing. So there will be a book just about Eiji’s story! Mom is so happy. I have to buy three copies; one to read, one to keep, and one to promote!”

The ladies got excited and left me behind.

“That’s right. It’s amazing to suddenly have two books out of the blue. You’re a professional high school novelist now, Senpai.”

When they said that, I felt a little embarrassed.

“Congratulations, Eiji!”

My brother says that to me with an ever-present smile…

My favorite combination of special pizza and Coke was brought in. Apparently, he made it to celebrate.

“Thanks, all!”

The pizza with tomato sauce and full of seafood and vegetables.

It smells great.

“So, should I report this to the school or something? I’m sure there’s some kind of confidentiality agreement or something…”

Mom, you grow up. She knows what she’s talking about now.

“The editor asked me to keep it as quiet as possible until it’s officially announced, but he also said it’s okay to talk about it as long as I get permission from the school. I’m a minor, so I have to have my guardian fill out some paperwork. I’m sorry, Mom, I need your help.”

“Of course. I’ll fill out as many as you want. Oh, I can’t wait… Ah, well, we have to get ready for the night business. Ai-chan, please have a pizza with Eiji.”

“Yes! Thank you, Mom.”

Ichijo-san looked at the pizza with great interest.

“Ichijo-san, perhaps do you like pizza?”

“This is the first time, or … I’ve been longing for it, or … I’ve always wanted to try pizza with my friends. So again, it’s more like a dream come true.”

She really is a young lady, I giggle. She is so excited that she doesn’t seem to be able to answer well. I tell her to go ahead. This pizza is a special menu item that we only serve at Christmas and on the birthdays of regulars.

Apparently, she liked it a lot. Looks like she has learned the taste of sin.

We had a nice dinner. Of course, it was also because of Ichijo-san’s presence. It made me happy.

In the end, there was no reply from the manager. I wonder if she is okay. I was worried.

I was shivering in my room.

“Kondo-senpai was arrested and all the people in the soccer club were severely punished…”

I just did what they told me.

If I did that, Kondo-senpai said he would date me again.

And I did what the manager said and took Miyuki to meet Kondo-senpai. So, we date like “lovers”. If I did what Kondo-senpai said, everything would be perfect.

I’ve already talked to the other members. The only obstacle is that first-year member who recently left the club, but I’ve already threatened her. She turned blue when I told her that if she did anything wrong, she would be isolated at school, and she would be just as guilty as the rest of us for being a part of it. That kid is weak-minded, so I can take it that far.

Why are we under house arrest? What are we going to tell our parents?

It’s all Kondo’s fault. What will happen to us? Since we are the perpetrators of the bullying, we will probably be suspended at best. At worst, we’ll be expelled.

My life is ruined.

It’s all Kondo’s fault. He’s been treating me like a slave since middle school. If he gets out, I’ll get my revenge, I swear!
