Chapter 55: After My Girlfriend Was Stolen from Me, for Some Reason Her Younger Sister Turned into a Gyaru and Started Coming On to Me
After My Girlfriend Was Stolen from Me, for Some Reason Her Younger Sister Turned into a Gyaru and Started Coming On to Me
“Hello.”
A few days had passed since we ate sushi at the Ayase family’s detached house.
Once again, I was visiting the Ayase family’s detached house.
The reason wasn’t to see Haruki.
Well, that was part of it, but definitely not the only reason.
Today, I was here strictly for work.
“Oh, hello, Kengorou-kun.”
As always, Setsuko-san greeted me with her usual cheerful smile.
“If you’re looking for Haruki, she’s over there.”
“Yes, thank you.”
I smiled back at her and walked forward.
I was going to see Haruki.
Even though I knew that wasn’t my main purpose, I still found myself hurrying.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Haruki-chan.”
“Nope, I just got here too, Onii-san.”
Sitting at the study desk in the detached house was a beautiful blonde girl.
She wore casual, relaxed clothes, and her eyes sparkled with blue-colored contact lenses.
The moment she looked at me, her face lit up with a smile like a blooming flower.
I thought she looked truly beautiful.
“Well then, shall we start the lesson?”
“Okaaay~.”
Today was Haruki’s tutoring day.
Once a week, I helped her study.
At this point, the number of our study sessions was nearly equal to the number of our dates.
Actually, these days we usually had an at-home date after studying.
In fact, that part was starting to feel like the main event.
That probably wasn’t ideal.
“Ahh, all done, all done.”
About two hours later, the lesson was finished.
Haruki, as expected, was quite capable.
Her regular test scores and mock exam results were excellent.
If she kept this up, she was almost guaranteed a spot in medical school.
“Yeah, you’re doing great, Haruki-chan.”
“Hmm…”
“Hmm?”
Haruki still looked a little dissatisfied.
“What’s the matter, Haruki-chan?”
“Umm, Onii-san, it’s that.”
“That?”
“The way you’re calling me, ‘Haruki-chan.’”
“But you are Haruki-chan, aren’t you?”
“I want you to drop the ‘-chan’ and just call me Haruki.”
I had always called Fuyumi by her name without honorifics.
That was because we had originally been classmates.
But now that Haruki was my girlfriend, she and Fuyumi stood on equal ground.
So it was only natural for her to want the same treatment.
Of course she would.
Haruki was the most important person to me now.
“Haruki.”
I said her name aloud.
A name I had spoken so many times, both in my heart and out loud.
Maybe that was why it felt completely natural to say it without any honorific.
Now then, how would Haruki react?
“Ah, uhh…”
“You’re blushing so much.”
Haruki had turned bright red and was looking down.
“I-I can’t help it. I’ve dreamed of this moment for so long… I-It’s nothing!”
Still blushing, she turned away from me.
“Then, I kind of want you to change how you call me too.”
“Huh?”
“I mean, calling your boyfriend ‘Onii-san’ is kind of weird. Most people aren’t into that sort of thing.”
“Ugh…”
If we were going to keep dating, I really wanted her to start calling me by name.
Otherwise, people might think I was some creepy pervert making her play the little sister.
Or worse, someone like Marco would never let me hear the end of it.
For those reasons too, I wanted Haruki to call me by name.
I still had some pride, after all.
“O-Okay then, fine.”
Her face as red as a tomato, Haruki stammered and slowly opened her mouth.
“K-Kengorou-san.”
“Y-Yeah.”
“What’s that? You’re blushing too, Kengorou-san!”
“I can’t help it, alright!”
I wanted to say it was because she looked so shy when she said it.
Well… this kind of thing wasn’t so bad either.
I got dumped by my girlfriend, and for some reason her younger sister turned into a gyaru and started coming on to me.
No, that’s not it.
She’s no longer just my ex-girlfriend’s sister.
She’s my girlfriend now.
That’s how I see her.
And I believe that from the bottom of my heart.
