Chapter 126 A Chance Reunion
#Ikemen no Bishoujo TomodachiA Chance Reunion
Seira visits a 100-yen shop near Seidou School to pick up supplies for her classmates.
With the shopping list in hand, she wanders through the shop, checking off items as she places them in her basket.
Once she has gathered everything, including packing tape and cellophane tape, she confirms the list and heads to the checkout.
Carrying the basket, she makes her way to the cashier. Following her classmates’ instructions, she remembers to collect the receipt and also buys a plastic bag.
Seira transfers the purchased items into the bag.
After returning the empty basket to its designated spot, she walks toward the exit.
“!?”
“!?”
Just then, her eyes unexpectedly meet Sou’s.
As Seira steps out of the shop, Sou steps in.
“…”
Without a word, Sou abruptly turns on his heel and leaves.
“W-Wait a minute!”
Seira calls out loudly, stopping Sou in his tracks.
“…What?”
He looks at her, clearly irritated.
“There’s something I need to tell you. Please, just give me a little of your time.”
Seira quickly pleads.
“…I was planning to do some shopping here.”
Sou deflects, indirectly rejecting her request.
“Please. I’m begging you—just this once!”
Desperation in her voice, Seira bows deeply.
“…Fine. But only for a little while.”
Sou gives in to her persistence.
“R-Really!?”
For the first time in a long while, Seira’s eyes light up with joy.
“Only for a little while. I have things to do, too.”
Sou adds pointedly.
“Yeah… Thank you, really.”
Seira expresses her gratitude.
“Where do you want to talk?”
“Not here. Let’s move somewhere away from the shop.”
“Got it.”
Sou and Seira leave the 100-yen shop.
Without a word, they walk a short distance away from the parking lot.
“So? What is it? Make it quick.”
Sou’s voice is cold.
“Well…”
Seira hesitates mid-sentence.
“I’m so sorry!”
She suddenly bows, her voice ringing out.
“Huh? W-What?”
Sou looks startled and glances around to check if anyone is watching.
“Letting myself get swept away by Ishii-kun, cheating on you, and then breaking up with you like that… It was the worst thing I could’ve done.”
Seira lowers her head again.
“…”
Sou remains silent.
“It’s pathetic, but… After being isolated and going through so many hardships, I finally understand how terrible I was.”
Tears spill down Seira’s cheeks.
“…”
Sou steps past her without a word.
“I knew it… I knew it would be like this…”
Her shoulders slump.
“I can never forgive what you did, Ito-san. Even now, just thinking about it makes me furious.”
Sou suddenly stops.
“But… I don’t think you need to suffer anymore.”
“!?”
Seira lifts her head and turns to face him.
“That’s all I have to say. See you around… Ito-san.”
Without looking back, Sou heads toward the entrance of the 100-yen shop.
“Thank you… Thank you so much, Amane-kun.”
Tears rolling down her cheeks, Seira repeats her gratitude over and over again.
