The chime signaling the end of the first period rings throughout the school.

Almost instantly, the classroom erupts with the chatter of students.

Meanwhile, in stark contrast to the lively atmosphere, Seira—wrapped in a dark aura—quietly slips out of the classroom like a shadow.

(Where does she even spend her time?)

Sou finds himself wondering about his ex-girlfriend Seira’s whereabouts, his curiosity fueled by the conversation Haruki and the others had about her this morning.

(Maybe I should follow her.)

With that thought, Sou quickly rises from his seat and slips out of the classroom.

“Oh? Isn’t that Sou? Where are you headed?”

Just as he steps into the hallway, Sou runs into Haruki and the other two.

“Yeah, I got curious about Ito-san after this morning’s talk. I thought I’d follow her for a bit.”

He subtly gestures toward Seira, who is walking ahead.

“I was wondering about her too. It might not be the best idea, but… let’s follow her.”

Mizuki responds enthusiastically.

“If Sou’s going after her, I’m coming too.”

“Manami will just go along with everyone.”

Unlike Mizuki, Haruki and Manami don’t seem particularly eager, but they decide to follow along anyway.

“I’m a little curious myself. I’ll go after her. We might lose sight of Ito-san, so I’m heading out now.”

Without waiting for a response, Sou picks up his pace, quietly trailing after Seira.

“Ah! Wait up, Sou-kun~!”

Mizuki hurries after Sou, who is already chasing after Seira.

“Should we go too, Manami?”

Haruki glances at Manami, his expression slightly exasperated.

“Roger that.”

Manami responds with a quick salute.

With Manami’s response, Haruki picks up his pace, breaking into a light jog after Sou.

Manami follows suit, keeping in step with him.

It doesn’t take long for Haruki and Manami to catch up with Sou and Mizuki.

The four of them maintain a steady distance, skillfully tailing Seira.

After a while, Seira finally comes to a stop in front of the library.

Without hesitation, she slides open the door and steps inside without so much as a glance around.

“She went into the library. Should we follow her?”

Mizuki asks, peeking up at Sou’s face.

“What do we do?”

“We’ll leave it to Sou-cchi.”

Haruki and Manami also turn their eyes to Sou, waiting for his decision.

“Hmm… Should we go in? We’ve come this far, so why not?”

After tilting his head in thought, Sou makes his suggestion.

“If Sou’s going, I’m going too.”

“Of course. Me too.”

“Manami as well.”

Haruki and the others accept without a word of protest.

“Alright, let’s do this.”

Sou places his hand on the library door and slowly slides it open.
