The day after meeting Nami-san. At the university.
“Oh? Isn’t that Nagi? Hey, man. Good to see you!”
“Eh!? Ah, y-yeah. Good to see you too, Taiki.”
During lunch break, I headed to the university cafeteria and spotted Nagi sitting alone at a table, eating his lunch. There didn’t seem to be any friends around him.
“Are you eating alone today? Mind if I join you?”
“Y-Yeah. Of course. Please, have a seat.”
“Thanks, I appreciate it.”
With Nagi’s permission, I took a seat beside him and started eating my lunch.
“Munch, munch… Oh, right! By the way, I met your sister yesterday. She works part-time at a café, doesn’t she?”
“R-Really? You met my sister? Wow, what a coincidence. So, um, what did you think of her, Taiki?”
“Oh, she seemed super kind and approachable. She gave off the impression of a gentle, mature older sister.”
“I-I see. A gentle and mature older sister, huh? Fufu, I’m sure she’d be happy to hear that.”
“Yeah, I think so too. But honestly, the thing that stood out to me the most was… Nami-san is stunningly beautiful! To be honest, I’ve never seen such a gorgeous woman in my life!”

Nagi suddenly started grinning from ear to ear. Puzzled, I tilted my head and asked him curiously.
“Fuhehe… Oh, uh, it’s just… When someone praises your family, it makes you happy, you know? It’s like I’m the one being complimented.”
“Ah, that makes sense. Yeah, it’s only natural to feel proud when your family gets praised. Still, with someone as beautiful as Nami-san, I bet her boyfriend must be an amazing guy.”
“Eh? Ah, no, actually… my sister doesn’t have a boyfriend.”
“Huh? Really?”
“Yeah, it’s true. In fact, she’s never had a boyfriend before.”

Hearing this revelation about Nami-san from Nagi, I was genuinely taken aback.

“Actually, my sister went to all-girls schools for both middle and high school. So, she didn’t really have any opportunities to meet boys, and that’s why she’s never had a boyfriend.”
“Oh, she went to all-girls schools? Yeah, I guess that would seriously limit interactions with guys.”
“Exactly. And, well… my sister is tall for a girl, and her features are a bit androgynous, right? Because of that, in her all-girls schools, she was treated like a prince. She embraced the role and always tried to meet everyone’s expectations.”

Nagi said this with a slightly wistful expression.
“Eh? Ah, I see. Well, youth isn’t limited to high school—you can experience it at any age. By the way, Nagi, you seem to know a lot about Nami-san. Are you a total sis-con or something?”
“Wha—!? N-No, it’s not like that!”
“Haha, no need to get embarrassed. It just shows how close you two are and how much you talk to each other. Honestly, I’m a little jealous—you’ve got such a great sibling bond.”
“Ah, y-yeah. We’re really close. Haha…”
Smiling warmly at Nagi and Nami-san’s sibling relationship, I couldn’t help but laugh as I said that.
