Chapter 41 A Meeting for a Date
#Ore ni Tsumetai TsumaA Meeting for a Date
It was a holiday, and I was sitting alone on a bench in front of the station.
The reason I was here was because I had an appointment with someone, but that person hadn’t arrived yet. It was almost time for the appointment, so the person should be here any minute.
As I looked at my watch, my vision suddenly went dark.
“Fufufu, guess who?”
A cute voice came from behind me.
Or rather, something soft was pressed against my back?
Apparently, I was blindfolded.
I only had an appointment with one person today.
“What are you doing, Yumeno-chan?”
“Bu-bu-bu, wrong! Say my real name or I’ll keep this on.”
Well, it doesn’t matter if I call her by her stage name; she’s still the same person.
But I can’t stay like this.
I’m a guy too, so when I feel the softness of her skin touching my back, I get excited.
“…Yume-chan.”
“Nnngh…!?”
Even though I called her name, the blindfold didn’t come off.
Instead, she let out a strangely seductive voice and moved closer to me.
“Hey…? Could you please let go?”
“S-sorry…!”
Finally, the hands that were blocking my view disappeared, and when I slowly looked behind me, there was Yume-chan, writhing somehow.
“Hello, Yume-chan.”
“Huff…Hi….”
I wish she wouldn’t be writhing around every little thing. It makes me uncomfortable.
This is the second time we’ve met, but she’s really weird.
However, when I really looked at her, Yume-chan looked very cute in casual clothes.
She wore a pink and black blouse and skirt and carried a pink bag.
I guess that’s what people call “jirai-kei fashion.”
“Hey, I thought that at the ConCafe too, but Yume-chan, you look good in that kind of outfit. I think you’re cute.”
“C-cute…? M-me…?!”
“Eh? Oh, yeah….”
“Huuugh…I’m getting wet….”
Yume-chan blushed and started fidgeting with her lower body again for some reason.
What is it? I just complimented her a little, but her reaction was way too much.
And I think she said something… but her voice was too small to hear clearly.
“C-cough… Um, anyway, nice to meet you again, Makoto-san….”
“Oh, yeah… the same?”
As she said that, Yume-chan stood next to me and put her arms around me.
I felt her chest against my arm, and I tried to suppress my pounding heart as I looked away.
“H-hey, why do we have to link arms…?”
“Uh…? B-but we’re on a date today, so… It’s common sense to link arms, right?”
“Common sense in what world!?”
That’s right, today is my date with Yume-chan.
It all started a few days ago.
When I came home from work, I got a notification on my smartphone.
It was a message from Yume-chan, and it said, [Would you like to go on a date this Saturday?]
I hesitated at first, but I finally said yes.
The company was closed on the weekend, but I had nothing to do at home and wanted to go shopping, so I thought it was a good opportunity.
But just because we’re going on a date doesn’t mean we have to link arms, right?
Isn’t that what couples do?
“Or maybe… you don’t want to link arms with me?”
“Ugh….”
But when I saw her face about to cry, I couldn’t say anything.
Well, let’s just let Yume-chan do what she wants today.
“Okay, fine… do what you want.”
“Yey~”
When I gave in, Yume-chan smiled.
Well, if she’s happy, that’s fine.
“So where are we going today?”
“I want to go shopping today, but it’s a bit far… We’ll have to take the train, is that okay?”
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
A little trip wouldn’t hurt.
When I agreed, Yume-chan was really happy and said, “Yay!” again.
Even at the ConCafe, I thought she was cute.
Why would such a cute girl want to go on a date with someone like me?
Maybe she likes me?
No, no way! That can’t be. She probably just needed someone to carry her stuff and couldn’t find anyone else, so she contacted me.
“Come on, Makoto-san! Let’s go!”
“Wait, Yume-chan…!? Okay, okay, don’t pull so hard…!”
Yume-chan grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the gate ticket.
She’s much more assertive than in the ConCafe.
Maybe this is her true personality.
Thinking that, I let her lead me through the gate.
However, I didn’t notice at that time.
That someone was watching us from a distance.
And that the worst was about to happen.
