Chapter 221 Bath Event (2)
#01JinseiGyakutenBath Event (2)
The door opened completely.
In front of me stood Senpai, holding a pile of towels. He didn’t notice me because the towels were stacked higher than his eye level.
“Sorry, Ai-san. I’m opening it. Mom asked me to bring the towels.”
I let out a voiceless scream at the sound of his carefree voice. Panicking, I grabbed his shirt.
You can’t just open the door without saying anything first! Maybe he’s being careless because it’s his own house. I need to say something before he notices. I spoke in a trembling voice.
“Senpai, don’t move. I-I'm not wearing anything right now. Just give me a moment….”
However, that only made things worse.
Because, upon hearing that, he became flustered too.
“Eh? Ah, sorry!”
In a panic, as he tried to leave the room, the tower of towels in front of him collapsed from the recoil. Before it could fall completely, I quickly turned around.
Time seemed to freeze.
I shut my eyes tightly. My heart was pounding so hard it hurt.
And then I realized; I was in a terrible state. I was holding his shirt with both hands, and it almost looked like I was smelling it. The feeling of wanting to avoid being misunderstood or hated by Senpai was stronger than the shame of being seen n🬀🬀ed.
“Kyaaaaaa!!!”
I couldn’t help but scream.
Slowly, I opened my eyes to check on him. He was desperately keeping his eyes shut. His panic was so obvious that I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Sorry, I was careless.”
His voice trembled too.
“Did you see?”
I asked, cautiously.
He shook his head, his hair flying.
“Really?”
I asked again to confirm, a little doubt in my voice.
His movements slowed down slightly.
“…Sorry. I saw a little.”
Seeing him apologize so sincerely, I felt strangely affectionate.
“Baka!”
“I’m sorry.”
He shrank further as I cornered him.
“Ecchi!”
He shrank even more.
“You still can’t look, okay?”
I said, then quickly went back into the bathroom.
“It’s fine now.”
Maybe because I was in a hurry, I still had his shirt in my hands.
“I’m really sorry. Anyway, I’ll just put the towels next to the washing machine.”
I heard him quickly leave the changing room, as if trying to escape.
I sighed in relief.
“I was seen….”
I felt a little embarrassed. In that moment, I forced myself to justify my actions.
“This is payback.”
I said, hugging his shirt. It made me feel oddly happy, as if I were being protected by him.
I realized again that I really liked him. Things might get a little awkward from now on, but I guess it has to be a little awkward. Feeling the warmth of the person I love, my heart slowly began to melt.
I slowly slipped my arms into the sleeves of his shirt.
