After a long, long summer vacation, the second semester of Seidou High School begins.

All the students gather in the gym, where a lukewarm atmosphere hangs in the air.

Sou is one of them.

Sou’s summer vacation this year was much more fulfilling than last year. He went to the swimming pool, the beach, summer festivals, and camping. Of course, he also played with Haruki, Mizuki, and Manami, with whom he lived together. He had a very productive summer vacation.

Since his class is different from Haruki’s, Sou leaves the gym alone to go to his classroom. Like Sou, many students gather near the exit.

Sou enters the school building where his classroom is located and climbs up the stairs.

This student was Ishii. It looked like he was waiting for an ambush.

Ishii smiles with a certain ease. It also looked like a double-faced expression.

Thinking of Haruki and the others, Sou accepted Ishii’s unreasonable demand. He had no choice.

Letting go of the stairs, Ishii closed the distance between himself and Sou. He approached until he was only a fist’s breadth away.
