Sou and the person who quickly sat down on the ground exchanged glances. Of course, Sou looks down.

“Amane!? Why are you here?”

A boy looks at Sou with hostility. He brushes the dirt from the back of his pants and stands up irritated.

“That’s because my house is right in front of you. Why are you here, Ishii?”

Sou feels a sense of disgust just by looking at Ishii’s face. The resentment he still feels for having his girlfriend taken away from him has not completely disappeared.

“Isn’t this my freedom? Don’t ask me meaningless questions.”

Ishii gives a cold answer as if he has no intention to explain.

“Ah! Sou-kun is here! I won’t let him escape.”

Mizuki comes out of Sou’s house as if following him.

“Eh! What?”

Ishii’s mouth falls open when he recognizes Mizuki. He must’ve immediately understood the meaning of Mizuki coming out of the house in front of him.

“…Why are you here? I don’t understand.”

Seeing Ishii, Mizuki doesn’t hide her unpleasant aura.

“What’s going on? It’s a bit noisy outside.”

Haruki and Manami also appear from Sou’s house.

“Eh! W-why. Even you guys?!”

Ishii, who could not hide his confusion beyond his surprise, must’ve seen an unbelievable sight in front of him. His eyes widened as if they wanted to jump out of his head.

“…That’s something I should say. Why are you here? Honestly, you’re an eyesore.”

Haruki spits out a sarcastic remark full of disgust towards Ishii.

“Manami agrees.”

“I agree with Haruki-chan as well.”

Manami and Mizuki express the same feelings as Haruki.

“It’s a lie!! It can’t be!!! It must be a mistake!!!”

Ishii keeps hitting his head as if doubting reality and waking himself up from a dream. He seems to have gone crazy.

“Is this guy stupid?”

Haruki unknowingly lets out her honest feelings. Mizuki and Manami make stunned faces. None of the three has the slightest concern for Ishii.

“Sou-kun, let’s go back to your house and leave this strange guy alone. I want to ask you something as well.”

Mizuki’s last words are strangely significant. Gently, she pulls at the sleeve of Sou’s clothes.

“Y-yeah. Okay.”

Imagining an unpleasant future, Sou cannot refuse and agrees.

Dragged along by Mizuki, Sou returns home. Haruki and Manami follow Sou and Mizuki.

“Oh, I forgot to mention. The three of us are living with Sou. I hope you understand.”

Haruki said coldly to Ishii, who couldn’t believe the scene in front of him.
