Chapter 63 The Mysterious Man
#Ikemen no Bishoujo TomodachiThe Mysterious Man
School is over, and Sou is on his way home alone.
He walks with Haruki and Mizuki until halfway home, but the way home is not the same until the end, so they end up splitting up.
While walking home with Haruki and Mizuki, Sou is distracted by other things. He can’t get Fujita out of his mind and doesn’t hear most of what Haruki and Mizuki say. He only pretends to listen. He can’t even remember what they said.
“Ahhh. What should I do now….”
Sou mumbles weakly and looks down to the ground.
It was easy to predict that Fujita would turn his fangs against Sou and Manami in the future. It will definitely happen soon. Just thinking about that future makes him feel hopeless and depressed.
Fujita’s presence is an annoyance. He wishes with all his heart that he would disappear.
He even thought of changing schools. If he had done that, he would've had no chance of getting involved with Fujita.
“Really. What should I do?”
Sou looks up at the sky as if asking God for advice.
The white clouds are floating in the light blue sky. Of course, there is no way he can get an answer from God. Sou’s eyes only see the silent sky.
“Is that okay? You’ll just end up being taken advantage of like before. You’ll lose another important relationship.”
Then a man’s voice, unfamiliar to him, reaches his ears. For a moment, he doesn’t even know where the voice is coming from.
When he realizes that the voice is coming from behind him, he quickly turns around. He is startled by the voice of a stranger.
He turned around to see a man with the same height and hair color as Sou.
However, his eyes were a different color, bigger and brighter than Sou’s.
He was wearing a hoodie and light blue jeans.
Sou had never seen this person before in his life. But somehow, he felt a strange kinship with him. He felt as if they were on the same wavelength. He didn’t know why.
“You finally found me. Anyway, is it okay? You’re going to have the same experience again and create a painful past. And because of the same person.”
“That may be true. But how do you know? We’re meeting for the first time, right?”
Sou asks an honest question while acknowledging the argument of the man whose name he doesn’t even know. He doesn’t remember him babbling to himself earlier.
“I can’t say that… Sorry. But I can say this much. If you remain silent and do not act, you will definitely face the same thing as before. You will suffer again, just like in middle school.”
The man in front of him does not reveal his identity or name. There is no indication that he will. However, he gives advice as if he is criticizing Sou.
Inside, Sou feels irritated. A person whose name he doesn’t know is giving him advice as if he knows everything. This is creepy, and he feels a little uncomfortable.
“That’s all I can say. The rest is up to you. Amane Sou.”
“What?!”
Suddenly, the unidentified man in front of him calls his name, and Sou opens his eyes wide in surprise. He doesn’t understand why he knows his name.
Meanwhile, the unknown man turns around without seeming to care about Sou. He walks away from Sou without looking back.
“Hey?! Wait a minute!! How do you know my name?!”
Sou yells loudly at the unknown man’s back.
“…”
However, the unknown man completely ignores him and doesn’t answer at all.
Pathetically, he continues walking forward.
