Chapter 6 Childhood Friends
#Ikemen no Bishoujo TomodachiChildhood Friends
“Ishii and I were just childhood friends, right? So please don’t call me by my name~”
A girl with a gentle voice and a wavy line at the end of her sentences. The girl who suddenly appeared seems to be related to Ishii again.
“Hey, Mizuki. I guess calling each other by our family names is a bit much. Just like last week, please call me by my name. Kazuhisa-kun.”
Ishii’s manner is softer than it was with Sou earlier. He smiles bitterly and acts timidly towards Mizuki. He’s like a different person than when he was with Sou.
An insight into Ishii’s true nature, whose attitude changes dramatically depending on the person. As expected, it’s disgusting.
The Ishii most students at Seidou High School know is a hypocritical figure. He usually wears a cat mask.
“Please don’t make me repeat myself. We were just childhood friends, and I’ve already severed all ties with you. So calling me by my name is a no-no for now.”
Despite her slow and gentle tone, Mizuki is annoyed. She’s clearly angry. She gives off a calm vibe but seems to be the type to show her emotions.
“Oh, no. Please reconsider! Haruki has a similar attitude too. Don’t talk to her again. She said she would not talk to me again! The other gal who had a crush on me has also distanced herself from me. You too… Please don’t make me suffer.”
Hearing Mizuki’s words, Ishii’s face changed. Was it because of impatience? His face slowly turned red. He also spoke faster. It was at a level that people with hearing loss could not hear.
“Stupid. Unfortunately, we cannot fulfill Ishii-kun’s wish. Because Ishii-kun broke your promise. The promise you made to us.”
Mizuki narrowed her eyes and spoke coldly. Her eyes were clearly filled with contempt. Her gaze was cold.
“Promise? What promise? I don’t remember making such an annoying promise.”
Ishii tilted his head questioningly. He frowned and made a puzzled face. These gestures were unintentional. Therefore, it had the effect of making people think that it was not just an act but that it was real.
It seemed that Ishii had no memory of promise at all. He probably didn’t remember it at all.
To prove it, he tilted his head from side to side as if searching for an answer.
The words were incomprehensible to Sou, but it seemed that the two of them had made some kind of promise.
“Don’t you remember? You are such… Ah, that’s enough. I have no intention of talking to you again. I’ll just exchange a few words with you when I see Ishii-kun messing with Amane-kun.”
After a long explanation, Mizuki turns on her heel with a surprised expression on her face.
“I’m going back to the classroom now. The break is almost over.”
Leaving that behind, she starts to walk forward, sulking.
Stunned, Sou then follows Mizuki’s act. The distance between them grows.
“Hey! Wait a second….”
The moment Ishii tries to stop Mizuki. The bell rings to signal the end of the break.
—Keen-koon-Kaan-koon~
The high-pitched ringing completely drowned out Ishii’s voice. Ishii’s voice was defeated by the sound of the bell.
Meanwhile, Mizuki was sucked into the class next to Sou’s.
Ishii had no chance to call her.
“Damn it!”
Giving up, he ran through the hallway in a desperate gallop.
His running form was messy and dirty. He didn’t have the cool and clean-running style of a Hollywood actor. His body and arms swayed from side to side as if blown by a strong wind, making his form look ugly. It was a hectic form.
Ishii was so handsome that he looked even more uncool than an average-looking guy.
“Pfft.”
Sou burst out laughing as he watched Ishii run.
