Invitation

After school. Seira and Ishii were forced to go home from Seidou High School earlier.

Leaving the classroom noisy with the conversations of classmates, Sou steps into the hallway through the back door.

There are also several students in the hallway. Although not as loud as the classroom, the hallway is also quite noisy.

Both boys and girls are excited about their own conversation. Students from different classes are chatting and interacting with each other.

Immersed in the place where the happy voices of boys and girls reach his eardrums from left and right, Sou walks along the floor of the hallway at his usual speed. The floor of the hallway has been trampled by various students, and dirt is stuck here and there.

Passing by students who are deep in conversation, he sets his destination as the entrance on the first floor of the school building.

He arrives at the stairs closest to his classroom and walks down them one by one. The stairs are quieter than the hallway. There are no students on the landing between the stairs at this time.

However, the sound of the students’ voices is still present. So even though he is more vulnerable than before, the noise continues to echo in his ears.

He continues walking for a few minutes. He reaches his destination, the entrance.

It has not been long since the end of class. As usual, the entrance is filled with students ready to go home. The place is noisy, as is the hallway. Everyone seems happy to be free of classes. Their feelings are expressed in the volume of their voices.

As usual, he opens his own shoe box and takes out his regular shoes. He changes from the school slippers he has been wearing since this morning to his regular shoes. The shoes are sneakers. The color is brown.

Without tying the laces, he puts both feet in the shoes. Both feet fit into the shoes. He puts on the shoes without touching the ground with his heels.

He sets his next destination as the main gate of the school. He is already on his way home.

He passes the students standing in front of the entrance and moves forward along the asphalt road leading to the main gate. Naturally, the members of the brass band come into view, busy with their preparations.

The Seidou High School's brass band sometimes practices outside the school grounds near the gymnasium. The vision shows them practicing in different locations.

He continues to move forward, and the members of the band move out of Sou’s field of vision.

Just as the main gate enters his field of vision, a familiar voice caresses his eardrums. His eardrums reflexively identify the owner of the voice.

He looks at the source of the sound. Then the world changes in his field of vision.

“I hear that Shitty #1 and Shitty #2 are suspended for three weeks.”

“I see~ Still, the suspension is too lenient. I think it would be okay to drop out of school~”

“Mizuki, don’t say anything scary in a calm tone. Of course Manami too.”

Haruki, Mizuki, and Manami talk in a good mood.

Then they notice Sou’s presence. Almost at the same time, the three stop walking.

“Hey Amane! Are you going home?”

They exchange simple greetings. With Haruki in the lead, Mizuki and Manami also approach Sou.

Sou replies. Haruki and the others are standing nearby.

These three beautiful girls are Ishii’s ex-girlfriends. Thinking about it again, that’s a ridiculous fact.

He feels a little jealous that Ishii was able to date such beautiful girls. He feels defeated as a man.

“We are going to have a meeting with the three of us to talk about the bitchiness of Shitty #1 and Shitty #2. Do you want to join Amane?”

Sou has doubts. And is it okay for him to be with three girls? He feels a little uncomfortable.

So Haruki and her friends decided where Sou would make a detour on his way home.
