The daily interrogations and the fact that I can’t go home are eating away at my mind.

What should I do? No matter what I say, they don’t believe me. I don’t know what will happen to me in the future. I wonder what will happen to my father. All I have are the bits and pieces of information the lawyer gives me. He said the company was going under, but that was definitely a lie.

Will I be expelled from school? What am I supposed to do? I’ve made it to the third year. Now I’m going to be expelled? Am I going to lose everything I’ve worked so hard for?

I’m shaking every night thinking about this.

It looks like the lawyer is here again. I went to see him, staggering like a ghost.

“Hello, Kondo-kun. You look pretty worn out.”

Is my face that bad?
