Chapter 19 Call

Call

“Ito. Come to the staff’s room. Now.”

Right after the fourth period ended. As soon as Sou and Seira’s homeroom teacher entered the classroom through the front door, he walked over to Seira’s seat and called out to her. The teacher looked different than usual; his expression was grim and his voice was deep.

“…Y-yes.”

Although Seira was a little surprised by the homeroom teacher’s sudden approach, she rose from her seat and answered as if by reflex.

“Okay. Please follow Sensei.”

Without changing his expression, the homeroom teacher left the classroom.

This time, without answering, Seira keeps her mouth shut and does as her homeroom teacher instructs. She leaves a few meters of space and follows the teacher.

“Ito-san was called in. I wonder why?”

“You idiot! It’s obviously because of that information.”

“Oh, no.”

“Oh dear. Did the information reach the teachers?”

“Of course. With so many students talking about it.”

Sou’s classmates all express their thoughts. Regardless of gender, they say what they think.

The student who first approached Seira when she arrived at school early in the morning, around 8 o’clock, was one of them.

The words of various students reached Sou’s ears.

When you are in the classroom of class 2–6, you are naturally forced to listen to them. Words in different tones stimulate Sou’s eardrums.

But there is no need to cover his ears.

He keeps Seira in his field of vision as if he wanted to say goodbye to her with a calm demeanor.

Sou’s gaze is focused on Seira. It’s as if he is concentrating on a single point.

But Seira does not look at him. She is looking at her homeroom teacher’s back. Her consciousness is completely focused on the teacher.

Even though he gets no reaction from Seira, Sou continues to follow Seira with his eyes until she disappears from the classroom.

It’s not like he wants a reaction.

However, the sight of Seira following the teacher’s call was really funny, and he thought to himself; Serve you right. So, as if enjoying the view, he continues to watch Seira without changing his expression. Until Seira leaves the classroom.

After leaving the classroom, Seira walks down the hallway, following her homeroom teacher.

After walking for a while, they pass the staff room, and the counseling room next door catches Seira’s eye.

Seira makes a surprised face. Her face shows her agitation and confusion. She walks sloppily, her mouth half open, as if she is unconsciously catching her breath.

“Enter here. Sensei will talk to you here.”

The homeroom teacher stops in front of the counseling room and gives instructions to Seira in his usual grave tone.

The homeroom teacher swings open the sliding door and urges Seira to enter the counseling room.

“Yes.”

After a moment of hesitation, Seira enters the counseling room, looking down as if to hide her expression.

After a few steps, she reaches the door and enters the room.

There are two long tables facing each other and a set of four metal chairs. There is a whiteboard in the corner of the room.

When the homeroom teacher notices Seira entering the room, he also enters the counseling room.

When he is completely in the room, he locks the door.

A click echoes through the room as if blocking her escape route.

There are two other people in the counseling room before Seira. One is the male homeroom teacher of class 2–5. The other person is someone who has a close relationship with Seira.

That person is also male.

With long blond hair and double brown eyes, he is a handsome man that most women would turn to without a second thought. He has great looks.

The handsome man recognizes Seira’s face, opens his eyes wide, and says her name.

“…Seira….”

“…Kazuhisa-kun….”

They called each other by name and blurted it out.
