“Are you okay?”

“Don’t touch me!”

When a worried Lovecraft tried to touch Mina’s shoulder, Mina was startled and brushed his hand away.

Lovecraft was puzzled.

He couldn’t understand why Mina had changed.

His confidence in holding Mina in his hands was now severely shaken.

Lovecraft knelt beside Mina and spoke slowly.

“What are you afraid of?”

“I-I can’t believe the punishment is so scary….”

Mina’s voice trembled, as did her body.

Lovecraft muttered to himself, “It was too soon.”

Since that night, Mina had set herself an enormous amount of work, as if she wanted to be blamed.

There was no way that Mina, with her strong sense of responsibility, would be able to digest what had happened that night so easily.

It had been premature to attack Isaac that night.

Lovecraft was also responsible for what happened that night.

Isaac wasn’t worth killing.

Still, he doesn’t know why he told her to kill him.

As if possessed by something, he couldn’t help but want Mina to kill Isaac.

But it was too late now. Lovecraft took a deep breath and changed his mind.

At that moment, his phone vibrated softly.

Reading the short message, Lovecraft clicked his tongue in annoyance.

“Isaac is caught in the net.”

When the shivering Mina opened her eyes, Lovecraft was already dressed back.

“It pains me to leave you, but I must go. Sorry.”

With that, he tried to pat Mina on the head, but she was frightened as if she saw the devil’s hand.

Mina asked Lovecraft, who smiled bitterly.

“W-Where is that guy?”

“I heard he was in a bar with a woman.”

“…with a woman?”

“Yes. But I heard he refused to pay and made the woman angry, so she reported him in revenge. What a stupid guy.”

“Were they alone all the time?”

“It seems so. I heard no other customers come in or out.”

Lovecraft, laughing at Isaac’s misfortune, didn’t notice that Mina had stopped shaking at this point.

“For now, I’ll let Hisui go first. I can’t leave Isaac to anyone else. Well, I’ll go then. Ah, there’s no more work for today. You should definitely get some rest.”

Lovecraft gestured to Mina and left the room.

When she heard no more footsteps, Mina slowly stood up.

She was still trembling.

With her skirt still rolled up, her hair still loose, and her underwear still on the floor, Mina looked out the window.

From the window, she could see the night view of the city, sparkling with the celebrations of the All Souls Festival.

Somewhere under those lights, Isaac is there. With a woman, Mina didn’t know.

The reason she did this, even though she was the busiest person in the world, was to keep him away from other women. She wanted Isaac all to herself.

But now, for the first time, Mina felt that Isaac was in danger of being stolen from her.

Mina’s heart pounded at the thought of Isaac laughing with another woman.

Cannot forgive.

It’s not about anything in particular.

It was just unforgivable.

That mustn’t happen.

The searing heat of her heart burned her frozen body.

The trembling of her body had stopped completely.

Mina put on her underwear, straightened her clothes, combed her hair, and reapplied her lipstick.

Then she stood up and looked around the room.

The room was filled with Isaac’s divorce plans.

Maybe Isaac is divorcing Mina because he has a new woman.

Just thinking about it made her want to burn it all down.

Mina raised her right hand and moved her mouth quickly.

A dazzling flame began to swirl above her right hand.

With a puff of her breath, the flames instantly spread throughout the room, burning the sofa, the desk, the bookshelf, and the divorce planning materials.

Surrounded by flames, Mina once again looks out the window into the night.

She must find Isaac, who is somewhere in the city, and protect him from other women.

She must make him her own again.

Mina raises her right hand again. Flames began to swirl in the room.

“Ooooo!!”

As Mina screams, the flames turn into a tornado and spill out of the office.

Then, with increasing momentum, they engulf the entire East Tower and burst into flames at once.

The fire whirlwind was so powerful that the East Tower quickly burned to the ground and collapsed with a roaring sound.

The officials who have gathered around scream.

Then Mina stepped out of the flames, her golden hair blowing in the hot wind.

Mina gave the order to the official, who rushed to her in surprise.

“Get the car ready. I’m getting out too.”

Then she clenched her left fist and swore to bring Isaac back.
