Chapter 2 Kicked out of the University Club
Kicked out of the University Club
âSigh, you⊠You really donât understand the vibe of the club, do you? Why do you argue so confidently?â
When I argued firmly, Kusumi sighed and said something like that.
âEh? No, what do you mean I donât understand the vibe of the club? After all, I do a lot of planning and behind-the-scenes work for the club membersââ
âThatâs what I meant! We just want to have fun and hang out with the club members, and all you do is get in the way with your weird projects! We donât need a guy like you who doesnât understand the vibe and is annoying in this club anymore! Hey, donât you think so too, Narumi?â
Kusumi yelled at me. And Narumi Takaki (éłŽæ”·ćæšč), who was sitting next to Kusumi, also yelled.
âYes, I feel the same as Kusumi. Doesnât Sawashiro know that youâre a weirdo and donât have a good vibe?â
âNo, so what does that mean? I donât understand when you say I donât have a good vibe. Please be more specific.â
âAh, are you serious? For example, you always try to get everyone to go home right after a club meeting or a drinking party, donât you? We havenât had enough to drink yet. But you just act like the leader and force everyone to go home. Thatâs really shit because you donât understand the vibe at all, so you should stop, okay?â
âNo, no, itâs natural to give the order to break up when itâs late at night, right? Especially since the number of girls in the club has increased a lot since last year. There have been a lot of dangerous incidents lately, so itâs bad if we donât let them go home before the last train. If something happens to the girls, weâll feel sorry for their parents.â
Of course, I can understand why Kusumi and the others want to keep the party going even later. It must be fun to talk to so many girls while drinking.
But if we think about it normally, itâs definitely not a good idea to keep the girls up past midnight. Thatâs why every time I plan a club meeting or a drinking party, I always try to plan it so that we can break up by 10 p.m. at the latest.
âHaah⊠you⊠You really are an idiot, arenât you? Of course, all club members want to stay up late drinking and having fun! Thatâs why no one wants to go home early, idiot! Donât decide everything based on your meaningless sense of values! Isnât your selfishness really bad? If you go out into society, youâll be kicked out in no time.â
âEh? If there are people who need more drinks after the breakup, why donât they just go to the after-party themselves? I donât have anything to say about that, as long as everyone enjoys themselves at their own risk. Iâm just saying that itâs not right to keep everyone in a drinking party until midnight.â
âHuh? Are you seriously an idiot? If you, the vice president with a high position in the club, give the order to break up the party, of course, everyone will obey the order and go home! Thatâs why we always go home frustrated because we canât drink, even though we all want to! Donât you understand that?! You really are an idiot!!â
When I said that, Kusumi and Narumi immediately objected. But the way Kusumi talks, itâs likeâŠ.
âW-Whatâs that? The way you say it makes it sound like⊠it comes from all the club members.â
âHa! Of course, it is! I always invite Shijou-san and the other girls to the after-party at the end of the party, but they always leave with an incredibly sad look on their faces, saying. âSawashiro-kun said we should go home, so Iâm just going to go homeâ. The other members all feel frustrated too, but the vice president orders them to go home, so they just follow your orders!â
âEh!? Ah, that Shijou-san!? No, but she always looks like sheâs having funâŠ.â
âOf course, everyone smiles when youâre around! Are you an idiot? When youâre not around, the club members are totally pissed off at you!!!â
âThatâs why the current atmosphere in the club is so bad because of you. Weâve also received a lot of complaints from other members who say that they joined the club, but they donât enjoy it because of the vice president, who always makes arbitrary decisions and messes things up. How are you going to take responsibility for this?â
âW-What!? We get complaints like thatâŠ.â
I hadnât expected to receive such complaints from the club members, so when I heard that, my mood immediately dropped.
âHahaha, why are you so shocked? Youâre so weird and annoying; itâs only natural that the club members would hate you!â
âHahaha, isnât that right? How insensitive is Sawashiro to think that the club members wouldnât hate you? You are such an idiot; it makes me laugh.â
ââŠâ
âHahaha, anyway, for the sake of all the club members, why donât you quit the club quickly? I mean, youâve ruined the atmosphere of the club so much that itâs only natural that you take responsibility and quit, right? You think so too, donât you, Narumi?â
âYeah, thatâs right. I agree with Kusumi; you made such a mess of the club, so why donât you just quit and get out of the way?â
Kusumi and Narumi told me that with a laugh and a sneer.
I didnât know that the club members hated me that much. I was shocked and couldnât move for a while, but if everyone really hated me that muchâŠ.
ââŠah, I get it. I didnât know everyone hated me that much, but if thatâs the consensus of the members of the club, then okay, Iâll quit. I guess I should just quit.â
While suppressing my sadness, I told Kusumi and Narumi that I was quitting the club.
When Kusumi and Narumi heard what I said, they immediately smiled broadly and said to me.
âHahaha, thatâs good to hear! No, I was sure Sawashiro would say that for the sake of the club! Well, good luck with that, Sawashiro!â
âAh, you made a good decision! Youâre Sawashiro, after all! See you later! Oh, donât ever come to this club room again! Hahaha!â
ââŠah so, bye then.â
So today Iâm quitting this club that Iâve been a part of since my first year of college.
I hope the club that kicked him out because of the 2 idiot's start to fall under.
