Chapter 166 Ichijo Ai and Friend

Ichijo Ai and Friend

Ai’s PoV

I hugged Hayashi-san and shared her frustration and fear.

She cried so much. I think she was really scared. Receiving threats from strangers and never knowing when they might come true.

Anonymous slander is really unfair. Because the fear will be greater than if we knew who our enemy was.

“Don’t worry. I’m on your side…”

I feel ashamed that I can only say that. But I want to be there for her if only a little. That’s what I thought.

Although she had turned a blind eye to Eiji-senpai’s bullying, she didn’t agree with the bullying. She didn’t give in to pressure from her clubmates and cooperated with me when I saved Eiji-senpai’s manuscript. I think that was brave…

She contacted me after all the club members had left and intentionally left the club room unlocked.

She wept and cried so much.

“I did a bad thing, I know. I turned a blind eye to the bullying of a Senpai who had been so kind to me. He was kind and forgave me, but I still know that I did the worst thing. I’m just as guilty as everyone else…”

She’s a really serious girl. She was the first to apologize to Eiji-senpai, even though she wasn’t the direct perpetrator. Without knowing it, with that, she saved Eiji-senpai’s heart.

“No, you did the right thing by apologizing to Eiji-senpai, and he forgave you. Those who made such cowardly threats didn’t even try to apologize to him even though they directly hurt him. In fact, they are trying to hurt you to save their own skin. They are the unforgivable ones, the ones who do such disgusting things…”

When she heard my words, she sobbed and said,

“Hik…thank you.”

I can’t forgive them. I will never forgive those who pushed Hayashi-san this far and tried to destroy Eiji-senpai’s talent, those members of the literature club who only think of themselves. I will never forgive them.

“I’m scared. Aono-senpai must be this scared too. I’m really sorry and I can’t forgive myself…”

She’s really…

“Hayashi-san. Let’s talk to the teacher. The teachers at this school will definitely be on your side. If you don’t want to, I’ll talk to them instead.”

To these words of mine, she said,

“Yes. Please do.”

For Eiji-senpai’s honor and for Hayashi-san’s future, I must end this matter as soon as possible. I made up my mind and hugged her body tightly…

After taking Hayashi-san to the classroom, I asked my homeroom teacher to leave early.

Then I immediately went to the desired place.

The owner of the room told me to talk to him immediately if anything happened.

So I’ll be fine. I go to the only person in the school who understands my situation.

I knock on the door.

“Come in.”

I hear a gentleman’s voice.

“Excuse me. Principal, I have something to discuss with you…”

He nodded slowly and greeted me without asking any questions, although he must’ve known that I should still be in class…

  1. Not that I complain, but, I feel like reading a detective novel, rather than a classic ntr revenge kind of novel lol

    1. Well that's pretty much how this novel is I guess NGL I really am happy that the mc is barely involved with the revenge shit and is just enjoying his life

    2. same here, the romance part of this novel only takes a small proportion of the whole novel. Side characters in this novel are so goated, especially goat Endo

    3. Agreed, but thats the good part, unlike some other revenge novels were the main character forgives thre main perp in 15 chapters, we're watching as the supporting cast slowly uncover the entire truth behind the bullying which is more interesting imho, then again other revenge novels dont go as far as cheating on your childhood friend less than a year into your relationship...

    4. Well this isn't a revenge novel, It's title is literally Life Reversal
