Takeshi is becoming more scummy than ever.

There have been glimpses of this for some time, but…it’s more noticeable now.

The reason for this——might be her.

“Takeshi-kun, good morning! You look good today…oh, did Takumi come too?”

What appeared was a neat girl with long black hair that suited her well——Enjo Kaori.

The person who was my lover…well, technically we’re still lovers.

However, I no longer have an ounce of affection for Kaori.

She had an affair with Takeshi, also she doesn’t seem to think anything of me…so it’s a pretty complicated relationship.

“Taking two days off is funny, haha.”

…she treated me as usual.

In contrast to her neat and tidy appearance, she has a surprisingly light personality.

I liked that gap…I really am not a good judge of character.

…a light woman who rubs shoulders with other people’s men even though she’s in front of her boyfriend.

I was really stupid to think that places like this were friendly to me.

“Takeshi-kun goes to school every day in good health, so why don’t you follow his example, Takumi? Look, you have a nice physique for nothing, you should work out too, you have a thin body, you must be sickly?”

“Hey, stop it, Kaori. Haha, don’t say too much, Takumi is a bean sprout.”

“Bean Sprout? Haha, that doesn’t look very nutritious~! Takeshi-kun, you have a great sense of comedy! You’re so funny!”

“Right? I have a sense of humor too.”

… What is this conversation?

It’s so empty that I almost get goosebumps just listening to it.

I don’t feel anything when I see Takeshi hugging Kaori as if he owned her, but…I was more worried about Kaori’s random words.

Come to think of it, I’ve always thought of her as a person who praises appropriately.

I don’t have much self-confidence, so I didn’t really take it seriously, maybe that was a good thing.

But when someone like Takeshi, who is overconfident, takes Kaori’s word for it——his pride gets inflated.

I see, that’s why Takeshi dares to speak and act excessively.

The reason is Kaori.

Because he spent so much time with her, Takeshi mistakenly thought he was great and became pompous.

(She is the type of person who “corrupts” her…partner, unlike Hana-san and Ichika.)

Instead of the disgusting feeling of being betrayed——my feelings of fear for Kaori were more dominant.

It’s dangerous to get involved with this person. If I had stayed with her without realizing that she was cheating on me, if I had remained…in love with her, my personality would’ve been distorted.

I was a little scared at the thought of that.

Anyway, let’s avoid anything that might provoke these guys.

I’ll find the right time, and I’ll estrange my relationship with Kaori and for now, be patient with…Takeshi until next year.

That seemed to be the best school life for me.

“Oh, it’s almost time for SHR to start. Takeshi-kun, I’ll see you later, okay? Takumi, study hard!”

“Okay, Kaori, see you later.”

Finally, they went back to their seats.

I didn’t talk to Kaori at all, but I guess she didn’t mind either. Or maybe she just wanted to play with Takeshi.

Well, whatever with those guys.

Finally, alone, I took a deep breath.

School today seems to be surprisingly okay.

However, I felt more tired and a bit depressed than I expected.

I want to go home soon. I want to see Hana-san and Ichika——
