Chapter 49 Dating Begins and the Snitch's Plan

Dating Begins and the Snitch’s Plan

Eiji’s PoV

Saturday morning, I went to the station to meet Ichijo-san.

I had trouble sleeping the night before because having a movie date with the school idol was a big deal for me.

I woke up early, skipped breakfast at home, and decided to eat at a family restaurant outside the station.

I had about 20 minutes before our meeting.

As expected, I felt uncomfortable eating alone, so I decided to walk around the station to kill time. Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me say,

“Hey, Senpai! You’re early. There are still 20 minutes until the meeting.”

It was Ichijo-san.

I’d only ever seen her in her school uniform, but now she was wearing a dull pink one-piece dress that looked elegant on her. Her little white bag added to her gentle appearance.

“Yes, I was a bit excited. That’s why I came so early.”

I was so fascinated by her that I couldn’t help but express my true feelings.

“Suddenly, what are you saying? Mo~”

She giggled and blushed in embarrassment.

“That dress looks perfect on you.”

All I knew was that in moments like this, I had to comment on her outfit.

“Oh, thank you. Just as I thought. Senpai, you’re used to dealing with girls, aren’t you?”

She laughed but made a complicated face. Maybe she realized I’d just been dumped and betrayed by Miyuki.

“That’s not true. I’m just fascinated by your appearance. But maybe on the contrary, since Ichijo-san is so popular, you’re the one who’s used to dealing with boys?”

“No, actually, this is my first-holiday date. Yesterday’s date at the coffee shop after school was my first. And this outfit… someone, helped me pick it out…”

“Huh?”

I couldn’t help but let out a strange noise. It was true that she didn’t seem experienced with dating, but I hadn’t imagined her to be so conservative—or rather, a late bloomer.

“Please don’t dig too deep. I’m just a bit embarrassed. I’m a high school student too, and there’s no way I wouldn’t be interested. Senpai seems to be used to this, so I feel safe. Let’s have some fun.”

Ichijo-san… looks more like a girl than usual.

“I’ll do my best.”

And it really felt like everyone was looking at her.

The special time had truly begun.

“Okay, let’s go buy the tickets!”

She was excited and ready to start the date.

“Oh, that’s okay. I reserved the seats online yesterday. I thought it might be full since it’s Saturday.”

I’d already taken care of that yesterday.

“Huh?”

“Hmm? What’s wrong?”

My date was stunned for a moment, and then her face turned bright red as if she’d had an emotional outburst.

“Senpai, I was the one who asked you out, but… I didn’t expect you to be such a good partner. I’ll pay you back!!!”

I said, “Okay, okay” and walked away, smiling bitterly at Junior, who was a bit upset but trying to get her wallet out like a little animal. To be honest, Ichijo-san had helped me so much that this little thing didn’t mean anything to me.

I’d made up my mind to do my best to entertain her today.

Saturday’s fun had begun.

Endo’s PoV

I watched the soccer team practice from an empty classroom in the school building.

Since my school is also a preparatory school, they open classrooms as study rooms even on holidays.

Well, most of us study at cram schools, so the classrooms are almost empty except for third graders.

So it’s perfect for observation.

I brought binoculars to watch the soccer team. Kondo no longer gets passes. Yesterday’s photo seems to have caused significant damage.

Kondo was isolated and humiliated by the lower teams.

It was a satisfying loss to watch.

From the sidelines, I saw Eri coming to cheer him on. My former childhood sweetheart showing her ugly side only deepened my disgust.

Apparently, my plan worked. Kondo, now torn to pieces, will probably look to Eri as an outlet for his stress.

When that happens, we’ll see something even more interesting.

And then I’ll take that interesting thing and hand it over to that other b🬀🬀ch. Kondo will fall apart even further.

Honestly, I’m still struggling to gather the most convincing evidence that Kondo is the mastermind behind the bullying. The entire soccer club needs to be destroyed along with Kondo. But unless something severe happens, the club members won’t confess out of self-preservation.

So my strategy is to stir up the parties involved and let them slowly destroy each other.

I’ve also informed the school. This will make the crackdown even harsher. Someone may become so impatient they’ll self-destruct. If that happens, it’s game over.

Once suspicion spreads, there will definitely be betrayals.

Kondo will be betrayed by his own people and socially destroyed.

“Give me your best show, you sc🬀m!”

Most of the people in that group are my targets for revenge.
